Texas Counties Deliver

The temporary waiver of certain vehicle title and registration requirements, announced by Governor Greg Abbot on March 16, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will end at 11:59 p.m. on April 14, 2021. Hardin County Tax Assessor-Collector, Shirley Cook, urges county residents to complete any over transactions now.

There will be some construction going on in the Tax Office in the coming days/weeks. Please be patient with us as we go through these much need updates. Thank you!


The Hardin County Tax Office is open to come in.
Our office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
To process a title, all paperwork must be completed and in the office by 4:30pm.
